Parsonage Walls Collapse, Mission La Paz Still Conducts Outreach

By John Gilbert

MEXICO – Now that the hurricane season is over in Southern Baja California, Mission La Paz has begun their fall outreaches. This past week Pastor Juan, and his wife Eva, held their first “FALL” week-long Bible school. The maximum attendance over the course of the week was about 25. They ended the event at the church during their Sunday service. Parents were invited to come and watch the presentations outdoors.

On a sadder note, the last hurricane collapsed two of the walls of the parsonage building. They had the block walls erected but hadn’t had sufficient time to fill all the vertical cells nor put the bond beam in place. Most of the block can be used to rebuild the walls, but it is still a loss of the other materials needed. In the photo you can see the height of the two remaining walls.
