MAINE – Easter Sunday, April 17, was Rev. Jake Clement’s last Sunday with his church before he deploys with some of the Maine National Guard to Poland for a year. Jake serves as their chaplain. Jake is an Advent Christian minister who serves the South Penobscot Baptist Church. In response to this, Jake’s church set aside their own Easter dinner plans to host a fellowship dinner with their pastor at their church. They also gathered around Jake and his wife, Joy, to lay hands on him and pray for God’s blessing. Please keep Jake and his National Guard unit in your prayers for this year.
