Penny Crusade Motivates Comeback in Maine

SOUTH ELIOT, ME – After a year of suspended in-person services, the Advent Christian Church of South Eliot, Maine is trying to come back from the COVID-19 pandemic. Part of the comeback is the excitement that Penny Crusade is generating — this small group also shares the vision to reach the unreached people groups that God has entrusted to our denominational care. Under the able leadership of De Davis and Leslie Middleton, the men are competing with the women to see which team can raise the most for the annual fundraiser. The real winners will be those that will hear for the first time the gospel of salvation through Jesus! After only two weeks, the men have collected, $769.30 and the women have collected, $723.50. — the grand total to date: $1,492.80. Our overall goal is $2,021 — only $528.20 left to raise. Please pray for this devoted group as we seek to reach beyond our walls to share Jesus, and life only in him, with the world.
