MATI, PHILIPPINES – Recent flooding in the city of Mati left a number of families displaced and without basic necessities. On Sunday, March 3, the Agape House ministry gathered 25 of these families from the Mapantad area of the city and distributed toiletries, rice and food. The Agape House staff have an ongoing relationship with these families, as their children participate in the Sunday School Extension ministry held regularly in Mapantad. As part of the relief distribution, Pastor Garay gave a clear gospel presentation and invitation. Rowena Cabrizos says, “Most of them repeated the prayer for acceptance. Glory to God! Before we parted ways, we offered regular Bible study to them … Please pray for a positive response as we continue to hold our regular Sunday School Extension in that area.”
