NORTH CAROLINA – Rev. Edward “Buddy” Dowd recently retired again after serving for 10 years at United Christian Fellowship Church (UCFC) in Wallace. He was ordained on November 1, 1970 by the Virginia Conference and completed 50 years of service last year. Rev. Calvin Leavitt accepted a call from UCFC and conducted his first service as pastor on November 7.
