Rev. Robert Earl Osburn, Sr., 70, O’Brien, FL passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. The Akron, OH born native moved to the O’Brien/Branford area from Augusta, GA and served as pastor at Beachville Advent Christian Church since October of 2020. Rev. Osburn worked in the ministry for more than 50 years, serving in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, California, and Florida. He was a former President of the Florida Conference of Advent Christian Churches, he loved golf, craftsmanship, especially woodworking. portraying Santa Claus, and baseball. He also was a little league coach and served as president of Del Rosa Little League. 

Rev. Osburn is survived by his four sons: Robert E. Osburn, Jr. (Jessica), Schawn C. Osburn (Reah), Eric J. Osburn, Bill J. Herron; first wife and mother of his sons: Carol Osburn; two sisters: Sue Strizak, Carla Bracken; one brother: Gary Whitcomb; ten grandchildren: Cassidy Caldarera (Alex), Skylar Osburn (Bobby Hutchins), Robert E. Osburn, III (Tailor), Ava Osburn, Isabella Osburn, Seajai Osburn, Schawn Osburn, Jr., Jani Herron, Kayla Herron, Chris Herron; six great-grandchildren: Graysyn Hutchins, Ashtyn Caldarera, Hayden Herron, Salem Herron, Nazarri Herron and one on the way: Brynnlei Osburn. He was preceded in death by his wife: Diane Osburn; parents: Carlos & Pauline Osburn, and sister: Janet Worcester

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, March 8th at Beachville Advent Christian Church with Bishop Dale Dansby officiating.
