MOZAMBIQUE – Three young men gave their hearts to the Lord on Sunday, August 1 at the Makara AC Church (in Malawi, but part of the Mozambique Maranatha Conference). They had attended a funeral at which the Youth Fellowship of the Makara AC Church was singing. While mourning the loss of life, these three young men observed the joyful countenance of the singers. They asked each other, “Did you see how happy those youth are? Where does this come from?” Their interest caused them to walk two miles across the border from Mozambique to Makara, Malawi to the church where they heard the good news of life through Jesus Christ. Without much hesitation, they responded to the invitation to serve this loving God who died for them. Pastor Samuel Kasakatira is seen welcoming them into the fellowship.

 “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants” (Isa. 44:3).
