Three Baptisms and an Ordination
Rev. David W. Davis baptized his son-in-law, Jared Gove at the Lily Pond in Deer Isle, Maine on July 11.
He also baptized Rob Bardell and Al Beal on August 29, which was a baptismal service of the South Eliot Advent Christian Church held at the baptistry of Redemption Hill Portsmouth in Portsmouth, N.H.
On Saturday, August 7, a service of ordination for Darrell Young was held by the Maine State Advent Christian Conference at Camp Washington at 3 p.m. Rev. David W. Davis presided; Rev. Tim Soucy gave the message; Rev. John Tate gave the charge to the candidate. Darrell, Tim and John all went to Toccoa Falls together and dreamed of serving in ministry together in the Advent Christian denomination, so it was a special moment!
