MOZAMBIQUE – Eliza Jailos is the headwoman of Nkhomapamwala village. Holding such an honorable position led her to believe that she needed nothing more in life. Her parents never took her to church, so she grew up without considering her need to know the God of the Bible. However, last Sunday, through the ministry of Pastor Samuel Kasakatira and other church leaders, she heard the Good News during an open-air meeting. For the first time, she was introduced to biblical leaders like David and Solomon who, despite their great wealth, worshiped the one true Lord day and night. When she heard about the Son of the Most High God who gave his life for her, she decided to give her life—and the lives of her grandchildren—to Jesus.
