WHFMS National Board Meetings

The National WHFMS Board met July 9-11 at the Advent Christian Village. This group, made up of the national officers, regional presidents/representatives and WHFMS coordinator works diligently to support ACGC, especially our mission work, and to provide encouragement and coordinate what we are doing locally to enhance our work to serve our Lord.

Rev. Justin Nash, ACGC executive director, was able to attend the evening of the 9th and share news about the denomination and discuss how we are all a vital part of the work. Rev. Nash told us about witnessing the blessing of our Bread of Life project at the Adda Road Church in India. Rev. Jeff Walsh, international missions director; Rev. Mike Alix, newly appointed leadership development director; and Rev. Adrian Dixon, church planting coordinator, met with the group via Zoom. Each of them shared about their individual departments and what WHFMS can do to support and pray for these important areas.

Jeff Walsh discussed each of the mission fields in depth. He called the Bread of Life project a “highly effective partnership” that benefits many.

The board was also busy with items ranging from improving the annual report form, the effectiveness of the Human Trafficking Awareness project, goal setting for Bread of Life, the 2025 and 2026 program kits, beginning planning for the 2026 Triennial meeting as well as many other topics.
