Witness Magazine Scores Two Awards at EPA

The EPA (Evangelical Press Association) is the world’s largest professional organization for the evangelical periodical publishing industry. Each year, editors, publishers, freelancers and designers come together to learn from one another in an effort to pursue excellence. Publishers from all over the United States send in their material to be judged and awarded in many categories. Common winners include big names such as “World Vision,” “Christianity Today,” “Focus on the Family,” “Voice of the Martyrs” and the “Salvation Army.”

We’re pleased to announce that our very own “Advent Christian Witness” magazine won two awards. We took first place in the publication redesign category and second place in most improved. The judges awarded high marks for content selection and design and made mention of excellent writing, especially for a small denomination. We are thrilled to have placed among such elite publishers and we are grateful for the many Advent Christians who labor to submit quality content.

Despite our efforts to make the magazine more relevant, timely and useful, only 10 percent of our denomination currently subscribes to this award-winning publication. For only $16 a year, you can receive biblical thought-leadership that will enrich your personal walk with Christ. Order extra copies as an evangelism tool to hand out at church or to neighbors and friends. Bulk discounts are available for our churches. Purchase your subscription here.
