NORTH CAROLINA – The women at GACC united for a Women’s Weekend February 18-20, 2022. The theme of the weekend was “Be Me” and focused on the book of Ephesians. Our identity in Christ and how we live with Jesus in this broken world was woven throughout each learning session and activity. On Friday, ladies gathered for a night of fellowship, games and yummy treats. We spent Saturday diving into Scripture and renewing our thoughts, identity and behavior to be in alignment with Jesus and his perfect example. The weekend concluded during our Sunday morning service, which included worship and a message of the power and protection that the armor of God provides over our identity in Jesus Christ. This entire weekend was an opportunity for women to be in sweet community with one another and with our precious Lord. Our conversations and vulnerability opened our hearts and minds to stand firm in knowing that we are God’s masterpiece who he has chosen and prepared for good things!
