CELEBRATE A LITTLE EARLY THIS YEAR

Christmas in October is a long-standing denominational fundraising event that provides Christmas gifts for retired missionaries, current missionaries and ministry partners around the world.

This year, we are passing out Christmas cards that express how Christmas in October funds are put to use around the world. Use these cards as bulletin inserts or handouts and play the promotional CIO video. We recommend that you make it extra fun by wrapping a Christmas box to use as a collection bin.

We do this event in October because it takes time to transfer funds to far away places. Thank you for partnering with us to make Christmas special for these dedicated saints!

PROMOTION PLAN

Read the CIO packet letter (mailed to churches)
Use the form above to order your free materials
Download the graphics below to use on your church’s social media pages and website
Talk to your pastor and board to select a collection date for CIO
Hang the CIO poster a few weeks before your date
Place Christmas card inserts in Sunday bulletins the day of collection (there are four cards so feel free to mix them up!)
Show the promo video the day of collection
Have a way to collect the donations (we suggest a Christmas-wrapped empty box)
Send collected funds to ACGC marked CIO
