WISCONSIN – On February 11, the children and youth of New Life Community AC Church hosted a Valentine’s event honoring the 20 senior citizens of their church. They even made cookies and scones to serve. The evening before, they set up tables with festive tablecloths and sprinkled them with Valentine-themed decorations. Even the plates, cups and teacups were glass and nicely arranged.
After the meal, additional tables were set up with games for everyone to enjoy. This gave the seniors and young people an opportunity to play together and spend time talking. It was a well-attended event, and the youth did an excellent job preparing and serving. It was a meaningful time of honoring the seniors, and the young people served them with enthusiasm.
Attendees said it was great and they were so glad they attended.
