Theology isn’t just an academic pursuit — it shapes how we read Scripture, understand the church and live out our faith. That’s why the “Ministry Today” podcast exists: to be a helpful resource for pastors and church leaders who want to grow in their understanding of theology and its practical impact on ministry.
Currently in its fifth season, “Ministry Today” is exploring theology’s importance, role and historical development. Episodes from September through December unpack different types of theology, explore methodology, share personal stories, feature special guests and highlight key figures throughout church history.
In January 2026, “Ministry Today” will shift its attention to one of the core ecumenical creeds — the Apostles’ Creed. What is this ancient creed? What does it teach? How does it articulate biblical truth and why does it still matter for the church today?
Hosted by Rev. Mike Alix, ACGC director of leadership development, and Rev. Dr. Erik Reynolds, MTI coordinator, “Ministry Today” is a production of the Ministry Training Institute designed to deepen your knowledge of the church and Scripture.
