Early this January, the pastor’s council in the Kenya Advent Christian Conference made the decision to use Christmas in October gifts to purchase 60 bibles for their churches. Christmas in October is a time of denominational emphasis that raises money to send missionaries and ministry partners Christmas gifts. Often these monetary gifts are divided between pastors or used to put on an event that blesses them. On occasion these funds are used for a specific purpose like this one.
It is a joy to see that the funds went to making Scripture more accessible. We know that God’s Word does not return void. Each church received three bibles each to give to church members who don’t own a copy. Thank you for supporting this fund year after year.
