RHODE ISLAND – The Heritage Conference held their annual meeting Saturday, April 26 at the Riverpoint Advent Christian Church in West Warick, Rhode Island. Rev. Doug Tourgee and the church showed great hospitality to the conference participants. The theme for the meeting was “Kingdom First” and Rev. Tom Loghry of Rockland Community Church in North Scituate, Rhode Island taught on the topic for two sessions. The first session dealt with seeking the kingdom first in our personal and private lives and the second session addressed ways we can prioritize God’s kingdom in our collective and public lives as churches.

Following the second session, Rev. Tourgee, finishing up his sixth year serving as conference president, presided over the business meeting. Rev. Bill Krulish, pastor of Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church in Springfield, Massachusetts, was elected president to serve alongside other conference officers Rev. Dr. John Jones, vice president, Karen Krulish, conference secretary, and Kevin Crouse, conference treasurer.
