“We take this course so that no one should blame us about this generous gift that is being administered by us, for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of man.”
— 2 Corinthians 8:20–21
At ACGC, we are deeply thankful to the Lord for the generosity of our churches, ministry groups and individual donors. None of the ministries of ACGC would be possible without your faithful and, at times, sacrificial giving. We take the stewardship of these entrusted resources with the utmost seriousness, striving to operate transparently and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
One expression of that commitment is our long-standing membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Next year will mark our 40th year as an accredited member — a milestone that reflects decades of accountability and faithful stewardship. Each year, ACGC is evaluated according to ECFA’s Seven Standards for Responsible Stewardship:
- Doctrinal Issues
- Governance
- Financial Oversight
- Use of Resources and Compliance with Laws
- Transparency
- Compensation-Setting and Related-Party Transactions
- Stewardship of Charitable Gifts
Beyond ECFA’s requirements, we voluntarily submit to additional measures to ensure integrity. Each year, we file a full IRS Form 990 and undergo an independent financial audit — neither required, but both demonstrating our desire to remain above reproach and fully transparent with the gifts God has provided through you.
As Paul wrote, “We aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of man.” We recognize that our first responsibility is to the Lord, and our next is to those who faithfully support His work through ACGC.
To every church, group, and individual who has given financially — thank you. The Lord is using your generosity to make the ministry of ACGC possible, and we remain committed to being faithful stewards of every gift entrusted to us.
