We’d like to invite you to join us for the 2026 Triennial Convention, August 17–21, in beautiful Black Mountain, N.C. Ridgecrest Conference Center will once again host our event. The theme for the convention is “Press ON: The Story Isn’t Over.” We hope it will be a time of celebrating what the Lord has done in and through the Advent Christian denomination over the last three years and a chance to look forward to what he will do through us in the future.
Our keynote speakers are all set, and they will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 4–5. Rev. Mike Alix, ACGC leadership development director; Rev. John Gallagher, ACGC president; Rev. Daniel Karl, pastor of Redemption Community Church in Clayton, N.C.; and Rev. Matt Rice, pastor of Dulin’s Grove Advent Christian Church in Charlotte, N.C., will be sharing at the nightly worship services.
In addition to important denominational business, such as the election of officers and approval of the ACGC operating budget, there will be a town hall meeting discussing the findings of the Organizational Structure Task Force. This is also a great time to interact with and learn more about our associate members.
Workshops will be presented on numerous topics, such as church replanting, bi-vocational ministry, community outreach, dealing with difficult people and ways to improve your church’s hospitality with guests. Several regional gatherings will be taking place, along with get-togethers for youth leaders and pastors’ wives.
On top of this, Ridgecrest is situated in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, just a short distance from the Pisgah National Forest and the towns of Black Mountain and Asheville. Free time will be available to explore all the great things the area has to offer. We hope you will join us. You can reserve your room and find the most up-to-date and complete information on the event by visiting acgc.us/triennial. Registration is now open, and you can register by clicking HERE or calling our offices at 704-545-6161.
It’s Annual Report Time!
As we begin a new year, it’s time once again to submit annual reports for your conference, region and ACGC. We really appreciate everyone who takes the time to submit these reports, as they help each level of the denomination understand how we can better encourage and assist our churches and pastors. Paper copies have been mailed to all the conference clerks for distribution, but the easiest way to submit a report is through the online reporting system, which is available by clicking HERE. Thanks to everyone who has already sent in your report, and we look forward to reading all the reports to follow. We’re excited to see how the Lord was working in your lives and ministries in 2025.
