When crisis strikes whether through famine, disaster, or personal hardship, our response as believers reveals the depth of Christ’s love within us. Scripture reminds us in 1 John 3:17–18,
“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
Through the World Hunger/Emergency Relief Fund, our Advent Christian family has had the opportunity to love “in deed and in truth.” This past year, your generosity made a tangible difference for believers around the world: food for those enduring famine in Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania; emergency supplies for earthquake victims in Myanmar; and critical essentials for orphans in Kenya. Each gift became a lifeline and a testimony of Christ’s compassion.
The World Hunger/Emergency Relief Fund was established to help Advent Christian families, churches and communities facing natural disasters and local crises. But because no one can predict when or where the next need will arise, your support today allows us to respond quickly and effectively when those moments come.
Your contribution ensures that when the unexpected happens, we’re ready to step in — offering hope, help and the love of Christ to a hurting world.
If you’d like to join us in this vital ministry, you can give to the World Hunger/Emergency Relief Fund today. Together, we can continue to meet needs and share God’s love in powerful, practical ways.
