Carl Crouse’s third book “Gateway to the Caribou: A Boy’s Life in Sumas, Washington in the 1960s and 1970s, Sprinkled with a Bit of History” is now available on Amazon. The book is filled with stories about growing up in a small town in the U.S., including the setting of the Sumas Advent Christian Church for many of the stories. Like his other books, he did not write it as a “Christian book,” but rather, from the perspective of a person who’s world view includes faith. Testimonies of the importance of what it means to be a Christian are scattered throughout the book.
