George L. Rogers of Robertsville, Mo., formerly of Ballwin, Mo., fell asleep in Christ, Wednesday, April 1, 2015. He was born September 13, 1935, in Emerson, Iowa and raised in Corning, Iowa.

Beloved husband of 54 years of Janet Rogers (nee Milam). Loving father of David L. (Pam) Rogers, Kenneth A. Rogers, and Kathy L. (Mark) Woolfington. Dear grandfather of Nathaniel D. (Lucie) Rogers, Justin G. Rogers, Joshua D. Woolfington, and Jacob T. Woolfington. Brother of Joan (the late Richard) Russell, Harley (Mary) Rogers, Jerry (Mattie) Rogers, Jimmy (Peggy) Rogers, and the late Teddy Rogers. Beloved uncle and friends who he cherished as family.

George was a faithful member, Elder, and Deacon of Hilltop Advent Christian Church in Pacific, Mo. He was a trustee of Camp Wilderness, Iberia, Mo., for many years. He was a retired employee of Fred Weber, Inc. with 42 years of service, and a veteran of the US Army.

Services: Funeral service were held at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Camp Wilderness Building Fund, or Kilo Diabetes and Vascular Research Foundation.
