JAPAN – Kitakyushu Agape House (Kitakyushu AH) has welcomed many new faces in recent months, driven in part by the growing demand for assistant language teachers in Japan. Several of the new members are from the Philippines, along with one from South Africa. Since June 2025, the ministry has maintained a weekly Bible study, which leaders report has led to spiritual growth and a deeper commitment among participants.
A local couple, Kim and Terry, have played a key role in mentoring new members. They regularly lead the Bible study when missionary Rowena Cabrizos is unavailable and are described as modern-day examples of the biblical figures Priscilla and Aquila.

Kitakyushu AH continues to expand its outreach through Bible study, fellowship and community engagement, with members expressing strong anticipation for each gathering.
