We are less than six months from the 2026 Triennial Convention in Black Mountain, N.C. The event will be August 17-21 at the beautiful Ridgecrest Conference Center. The theme Scripture for the convention is 2 Corinthians chapters 4-5, and the theme is “Press On: The Story Isn’t Over.” This will be a time of celebration as we rejoice over all that they Lord has accomplished in and through the Advent Christian denomination over the last three years, in areas like international missions, church replanting and leadership development.
Here is the lineup for our keynote speakers:
- Monday (August 17): Rev. Daniel Karl – 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
- Tuesday (August 18): Rev. Matt Rice – 2 Corinthians 4:7-15
- Wednesday (August 19): Rev. Mike Alix – 2 Corinthians 4:16-5:10
- Thursday (August 20): Rev. John Gallagher – 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
There will also be some significant, perhaps historic, business during our delegate meetings. A proposed revision to the Declaration of Principles will be considered as well as some changes to the ACGC bylaws. In addition, the delegates will be electing a president, recording secretary and member-at-large.
Workshops will focus on counseling and hospitality in the local church, church replanting, international missions, community outreach and bi-vocational ministry. Special regional gatherings will take place along with gatherings for youth workers and pastors’ wives. Town hall meetings will feature discussions on the report of the Organizational Structure Task Force and the proposed Declaration of Principles.
This only happens every three years, so we hope you will join us for this momentous gathering of our Advent Christian family. You can register and find all the most up-to-date information by visiting acgc.us/triennial.
