Agape House San Carlos
Agape House San Carlos has found an entry point into a public school in San Carlos as Pastor Deo and Pastora Joan were asked to teach a “moral recovery program.” This was made possible due to a partnership between the school, the church and the Philippine Values Education Program (PVEP) main office.

Agape House San Carlos also recently baptized two women, Rochell and Abegail. Rochell was first invited to the church services by a friend named Lawrence who is active in the church. Abegail is the daughter of one of the core church leaders of this ministry, and she committed to baptism after five years of church attendance.

Agape House Mati
During these past couple of months, the Sunday School Extension team fed many children, shared the love of God through Bible lessons and visited the homes of the children’s families. The Lord continues to work through this ministry!
On August 15, Agape House Mati held their “Youth Jam Friday” and several youths committed their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God! One young man who attended was an atheist, but by the end of the evening, he was raising his hands and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Glory to God!

Another highlight of Youth Jam was the testimony of a young lady named Isaa. She is in her final year of high school and will be enrolling in Christian Academy in Davao Oriental (CANDOR) soon. Her mother is a member of Hakata Agape House in Japan (where she lives and works as a foreign national). Isaa came to Mati to enroll in CANDOR, and she also currently serves the Lord through the Sunday School Extension program by using her musical talents on the music team.

Salumayag Ministry
This year, the ministry to the Salumayag people is launching an exciting new initiative — a Bible-based literacy program designed to help children learn to read while discovering God’s Word. Thirteen students make up the very first group, receiving not only lessons but also snacks and school supplies to support their learning.
Pray that this program will grow, flourish and become a lasting source of hope and transformation for the next generation.
