Glendon A. Smith

Glendon A. Smith passed away on December 21, 2017 at Medilodge of Clare. He was born on April 2, 1930 to the late Charles and Nora (Neal) Smith.

Glendon served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a licensed funeral director in the state of Wisconsin. Glen enjoyed flying, traveling, farming, going on rides and talking to all people around him. He loved to preach and spread the Word.

Glendon is survived by his wife, Wendie, children; David (Gwyn) Smith, Vicky (Paul) Pavalas, Matt (Julie) Antczak, Sheila Antczak, grandchildren; Derek (Elizabeth) Smith, Brook (Jim) Johnson, Griffin Antczak, Jenny Pavalas, Shelly Pavalas, Paul Pavals, Luke Pavalas and several great-grandchildren.

Glen was predeceased by his siblings; Paul, James, Donald, Marjorie Wilson, Elmer and Keith.

A memorial service was held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Club House of Old Oak Trails with Rev. Jung Eun Yum from First United Methodist Church officiating. There was fellowship afterwards.
