A few months ago, we shared that Brother J in Myanmar began a new evangelistic effort among the unreached using their bamboo home as the base for ministry operation. Since then, he, his wife and daughter have been faithfully ministering to their new community.
The Lord has been at work, and now a group of around 15 men, women and children are gathering regularly for worship and prayer! They’ve even had to rent a larger house for their worship services as they outgrew the small bamboo hut. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness.
Brother J reports that many of the people he serves are refugees from Rakhine state and southern Chin state in Myanmar, regions that have been heavily impacted by violence since 2023. He has been able to share God’s love by visiting in their homes and praying for their needs. He continually shares the name of Jesus Christ, “the true God who can provide all your needs.”
Pray with us that the Lord would continue to open gospel doors in this community. And pray that the Lord would meet the needs of those who carry heavy burdens and need rest.
