The lazy days of summer are in full gear, but Ministry Training Institute (MTI) is still hard at work coming alongside churches and leaders. Churches need leaders all year long. We’ve graduated 20 students who have now entered church ministry. These students serve as pastors, elders and key leaders in the local church, equipped with a strong biblical and theological foundation.
MTI prepares and strengthens local church leaders — pastors, deacons, elders and teachers — through challenging courses, personal mentoring and practical ministry experience. While designed for anyone serving the local church, MTI’s primary aim is to equip and raise up new pastors for the future of our denomination.
One student shared after taking the Old Testament Survey Course, “This course has greatly changed my understanding of the Old Testament by helping me see it as one unified redemptive story rather than a collection of separate events. It deepened my perspective on God’s character, especially his grace, mercy and faithfulness throughout history. Overall, it helped me appreciate the Old Testament more and understand its connection to God’s greater plan centered on Jesus Christ.”
