We’re sending ambassadors to Liberia on Friday! The 10-member team led by three pastors from the eastern region will provide ministry training for all our Advent Christian pastors in Liberia and a vacation Bible school style children’s outreach. The training and the children’s outreach will take place at an AC church in a section of Monrovia called Virginia.
The Ambassador Trip team members come from a variety of backgrounds and locations throughout the United States. Team members include Shiloh and Daniel Roberts (Massachusetts) and Stacie Howk (Missouri). The team also includes pastors Nathaniel Bickford (New Hampshire), Jacob Hansen (Maine), Tom Loghry (Rhode Island) and Nathan Rogers (Missouri). International Missions staff Catherine Rybicki, Jeff Walsh and Bryce Whiting will lead the team.
The team knows they must depend on the Lord for all things during this trip. Any eternal impact will be the Lord’s doing. The team invites you to join them in prayer throughout the duration of the trip. Below is a prayer schedule you can use to support the team in prayer. | Friday Sept 26 | First day of travel. Team meets in Washington D.C. and boards flight to Africa. Pray for travel safety and on-time flights. |
| Saturday Sept 27 | Afternoon arrival in Monrovia. Pray for timely connections with our hosts and for proper rest. |
| Sunday Sept 28 | Worship at the Virginia AC Church near Monrovia. Afternoon planning and coordinating and community promotion of upcoming children’s ministry. Pray for hearts tuned to the Lord and for unity in the Spirit with Liberian Christians. |
| Monday Sept 29 | Pastors seminars (AM and PM), children’s ministry (AM and possibly PM) Pray for those leading the seminars and the children’s ministry. |
| Tuesday Sept 30 | Pastors seminars (AM and PM), children’s ministry (AM and possibly PM) Pray for those leading, for the pastors and for the children attending. |

| Sunday Oct 5 | Worship at several area AC churches. Pray for God’s strength for those who will be asked to speak and lead. Pray for God’s glory in worship. |
| Monday Oct 6 | Homeward bound – morning departure from Monrovia. Pray for safety and good health in travel. |
| Tuesday Oct 7 | Afternoon home arrival for most of the team. Pray for the Lord to use the trip for lasting kingdom work in Liberia. |
