Rev. James Arthur Gilroy
James Arthur Gilroy, 73, passed away on September 13, 2021 in Tallahassee, Florida.
James was born on September 28, 1947 in Keene, New Hampshire to Francis and Charlotte Gilroy. He moved to the Dowling Park area from California in 2013.
After receiving a BA in Theology from Berkshire Christian College in Lenox, Massachusetts, James was in the pastoral ministry for 44 years, 23 years as a senior pastor and 21 years as a youth minister. He was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan, and loved his cat. He was also extremely organized.
James is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Gilroy. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Gilroy of Live Oak, Florida.
