A Call to Prayer for Our Churches
This May, churches across our denomination are invited to participate in Prayer Emphasis, a four-week program designed to encourage and strengthen our churches through focused prayer.
This year, our devotional material is titled “A Prayer for the Church” and explores Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the Temple (1 Kings 8:54-61). Solomon’s prayer is a powerful model for us as we seek the Lord’s promises, presence, patience and purpose for our churches.
