Tithing (1984-54)
Whereas the delegates to this General Conference session have been made aware of the financial needs facing the General Conference, and are concerned that those needs be met,
Therefore, be it Resolved that the delegate body reaffirm our commitment and the commitment of our churches to Advent Christian ministries, based on the following principles:
- We as a people are committed to the biblical teaching of storehouse tithing and to the encouraging of biblical giving over and above the tithe, and
- That churches should give full and enthusiastic support to national, regional, conference, and local programs.
