The Cabrizoses’ recent trip to the Philippines was spent with students and school staff from the Christian Academy in Davao Oriental (CANDOR), which is under the oversight of Agape House Ministries. CANDOR provides Bible-based education to young people.
This trip included an element of training as Erwin and Rowena completed workshops required by the Department of Education. On the fun side, they were able to participate in an overnight scouting and camping trip with the elementary students which included a field trip around the city of Mati! The kids learned about different government offices, visited museums and learned about important times in Filipino history.

Erwin and Rowena also attended Career Day at CANDOR on September 25. This was a special day for all students. Everyone from the elementary students to the high schoolers, including those with special needs, shared their dreams of who they wanted to be and what they wanted to do in the future. Many parents shed tears as their children shared their dreams.

A pretty amazing door for evangelism has opened up: CANDOR now offers driving lessons for students in the community, and several have heard the gospel because of it. Pray for these students as they consider Christ, perhaps for the first time. CANDOR hopes to hold a baptism service on October 18. Pray that many would come to saving faith!

Your gifts to Penny Crusade make Erwin and Rowen’s ministry work, Agape House and CANDOR possible. Thank you for giving to kingdom efforts and making it possible to share the light of Christ with people in every corner of our globe.
